Five Of Our Favorite Things to See Or Do in Downtown Easton

Living in the Lehigh Valley area gives you access to numerous downtown areas from small boroughs to beautiful downtowns such as Easton’s.

Downtown Easton Pennsylvania is a quaint, vibrant, and sought after destination for foodies, shoppers, and tourists alike.

It truly has the feel of what a downtown might feel like in the movies. From the famous Easton Centre Square that is truly the center of the city, to Lafayette College on “The Hill”, Easton is eclectic, sometimes eccentric, but always exciting.

Here are five “Must-Sees” in downtown Easton from Nic Zawarski & Sons® staff.

Oak Steakhouse

323 Northampton St, Easton, PA

Easton is known as a foodie destination as of late due to a number of fine dining options that have opened up around the circle area. One of those is Oak, which is renowned for not only its unique decor, but also steaks that people cross the Delaware River for.

State Theatre Center for the Arts

453 Northampton St, Easton, PA

A night out in the Lehigh Valley doesn’t get any better than at The State Theatre. From Broadway shows to world-famous comedians, and classic bands to magicians. The State Theatre is the crown jewel of Lehigh Valley nightlife. The best thing is that their calendar is always changing, so there is something for everyone coming up soon.

Riverside Park

Larry Holmes Dr, Easton, PA

Located at the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh rivers, Riverside Park is one of the most beautiful and serene locations in the entire area. It’s also home to numerous street festivals throughout the year. The perfect place for a walk in the sun or a jog on a cool spring day.

Sigal Museum and Northampton County Historical and Genealogical Society

42 Northampton St, Easton, PA 18042

The description of the Sigal Museum says it’s a resource for artifacts from pre-European settlers, decorative arts, textiles, tools & furniture. And, while that may be true, it’s also home to varying exhibits in the Charles Chrin Changing Gallery and other cultural events that make it a staple of the area’s art scene.

Lafayette College

730 High St, Easton, PA

WIth some of the most impressive views in the Lehigh Valley, Lafayette College’s campus is “required reading” when it comes to any time in the Lehigh Valley. It overlooks the city of Easton in a serene way and is home to some of the brightest young minds in the world.

The good news is that these are just a few of the places in Easton to explore. We’ll share some more with you soon!
