Interior Design Tips to Try

It’s not always easy to come up with new ideas for staging your home. Life gets in the way, right?

We thought the best way to get you to try a few new ideas was to give you a few. Here are just a few tips from us on where you can begin.

Let in more natural light.

There is simply no substitute for natural light. Not only does it affect how colors appear (better) but it also can help increase your own well-being. South facing rooms can benefit from the maximum amount of light while north facing rooms will have less.

Put wallpaper in the bathroom.

Bathrooms can be a wonderful place to experiment with bold patterns that you wouldn’t necessarily use in other rooms of the house. Make a statement!

Swatch your paint

Don’t skip this step before you decide to paint a room. Remember, light can even affect which hue you use. You can paint swatches onto paper and move them around the room throughout the day to see how they look!

Repeat styles and accessories

Repeating shapes and colors is a way to create the feeling of harmony throughout a home. You can use things such as a selection of rectangles, round mirrors, and more!
