It’s no secret that the Lehigh Valley has some of the best autumnal views on the east coast, but where are the best places to take in those sights?
While probably won’t list all the ones you may be familiar with, we have a few of our own that truly stand out in our eyes.
The Lehigh Valley Covered Bridge Tour
Pictured above. This is one of our favorite Lehigh Valley activities and especially fun during the fall.
From Discover Lehigh Valley: “The Lehigh Valley Covered Bridge Tour is approximately 50 miles long. Plan to spend several hours for a leisurely drive, which includes time to snap photos and enjoy the scenic beauty surrounding the bridges. There are plenty of spots to stop for a picnic or hike, or just relax and listen to the running water. The route is marked with red signs on the side of the road.”
Leaser Lake
Nestled in the northern Lehigh Valley near New Tripoli, Leaser Lake is a fantastic place to get away for a few hours to enjoy peace and quiet with your autumnal views.
Thank you to Leaser Lake Boats, Bikes, and Bait for that amazing photo!
Down the Delaware Along State Highway PA-611
There are several spots along 611 that will make you want to stop your car and take it all in. The road is always one of our favorite drives, but it shines during this time of year.
Moravian College
Located just a few blocks away from our offices in Bethlehem, Moravian College has no shortage of beauty during the fall. It truly is one of the Lehigh Valley’s gems.
Downtown Easton
Downtown Easton may have one of the most delightful walks for a city of its size along the Delaware River through Riverside and Scott parks. Be sure to explore the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor as well!
There are countless more spots, towns, and delightful getaways in the Lehigh Valley. Thank you for allowing us to share a few.
